About Komal

I'm Komal, a physics graduate currently undertaking a Master of Artificial Intelligence in Melbourne. My academic background gives me a deep, working command of the math, physics, and programming concepts I teach the reasoning behind the answers. I take tutoring seriously and treat every student with the same care and professionalism I bring to my own studies: I prepare for sessions, track progress over time, and adapt my approach to suit how each individual learns best. Students and parents can expect someone who is reliable, patient, and genuinely invested in seeing real improvement: whether that's lifting a VCE result, building confidence in a tricky subject, or getting comfortable with coding for the first time. About the lesson

Hi, I'm Komal a physics graduate currently completing a Master of Artificial Intelligence in Melbourne. I tutor high school and VCE maths and physics, as well as introductory to intermediate coding (Python), both in person around Melbourne and online.
My teaching approach starts with finding out where things actually clicked or stopped clicking for a student, rather than assuming. Physics and maths build on each other, so I focus on rebuilding any shaky foundations first, then layer the harder material on top. I lean heavily on worked examples and intuition , I want students to understand why a method works, not just memorise steps, because that's what holds up under exam pressure. For VCE students, I also weave in exam technique: reading questions carefully, structuring full-mark answers, and practising under timed conditions as exams get closer. For coding, I keep it hands-on, we write and run real code together so concepts stick through doing, not just watching.
Lessons usually run for 60 minutes, which is enough to make solid progress without losing focus. In the lead-up to SACs or exams I'm happy to do longer 90-minute sessions on request.
My lessons are best suited to students from around Year 7 through to Year 12, including VCE Maths Methods, Specialist Maths, and Physics, plus anyone starting out with Python.
