About Alison
I have over 12 years of classroom experience of teaching general science to KS4 and Physics to KS5. I also have 4 years Edexcel examiner experience.
I have created schemes of work for the Science curriculum, specialising in the Physics topics.
I have tutored both state and independent students at KS4 and KS5 level.
I can apply my experience in the education sector to personally assist with each tutee's requirements.

I aim to build tutees' confidence in the Sciences using techniques that are tailored to their requirements.
Whether it be extra revision support pre-exams, simply going through curriculum content to build confidence, or supporting a neurodivergent student who finds the school environment overwhelming, I aim to approach each tutee on an individual basis and provide the sessions most appropriate to their needs.

Face-to-face classes within 4 miles do not have a travel cost charge. Classes between 4 and 8 miles have a £3 travel cost charge. I will not accept students for face-to-face classes further than 8 miles away.
