About Ember
My interest in physics began with curiosity about how matter, energy, and forces shape the natural world. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Experimental Physics followed by an M.Sc in Solid State Physics. Over 13 years of teaching, I have helped students replace fear with understanding through patient explanation and structured guidance.
I approach teaching with empathy and flexibility. I recognize that physics often challenges confidence, so I take time to build understanding step by step. I focus on explaining concepts clearly and reinforcing reasoning rather than rushing through content.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with research publications, simulations, and applied physics developments. Teaching physics is meaningful because I witness students grow confident in their reasoning abilities. Supporting this intellectual growth is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Physics becomes less intimidating when students understand the reasoning behind physical laws rather than seeing formulas in isolation. My lessons focus on building strong conceptual foundations in mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, optics, and energy systems. I carefully explain how observations lead to laws and how equations describe real behavior, using visual reasoning, demonstrations, and structured explanation. Each lesson is paced to ensure comfort and clarity.
Lesson structure adapts to individual progress. Beginners focus on units, vectors, and conceptual understanding before heavy calculation. Intermediate learners develop algebraic manipulation, problem-solving strategies, and multi-step applications. Advanced learners refine derivations, exam techniques, and analytical reasoning. Guided practice and feedback are consistently used to strengthen understanding.
Physics lessons also cultivate logical thinking, patience, and resilience. Students gain confidence as they learn to approach problems methodically rather than emotionally. My goal is to help learners feel capable and calm when facing physics challenges, building confidence that supports success beyond the classroom.
