About Diana
I have been captivated by the natural laws of the universe from a young age, which inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Physics followed by an M.Sc in Astrophysics. Over the last 9 years, I have guided students of various levels through a range of topics, from fundamental mechanics to advanced quantum theory. My teaching approach emphasises clarity, patience, and active engagement, ensuring students not only learn but also enjoy the process of discovery.
I focus on creating lessons that blend theory with practical application. I use visual aids, simulations, step-by-step problem-solving, and conceptual discussions to reinforce understanding. Encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and independent thinking is central to my methodology. I tailor content to suit each student’s pace and learning style, fostering confidence, motivation, and mastery in the subject.
Beyond the classroom, I continue to engage with current research, scientific publications, and observational studies in physics and astronomy. Integrating these into lessons brings contemporary relevance and inspires students to see the real-world applications of physics. My physics lessons are designed to make the subject engaging, interactive, and deeply understandable. I cover fundamental topics including classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, optics, waves, and an introduction to quantum concepts. Every lesson incorporates visual explanations, hands-on problem-solving, real-world examples, and thought-provoking discussions. The goal is not only to help students master the content but also to develop a deeper appreciation for the principles that govern the universe. I emphasise understanding over memorisation, encouraging students to question, explore, and connect ideas across topics.
For beginners, I provide structured guidance on basic mechanics, energy concepts, introductory circuits, and simple wave principles, ensuring strong foundational understanding. Intermediate learners explore more complex problems, including electromagnetism, thermodynamic calculations, and multi-step reasoning exercises. Advanced learners delve into quantum principles, rotational dynamics, electromagnetic fields, and problem-solving for competitive exams. Each session balances conceptual clarity with practical application, ensuring learners feel supported while developing intellectual independence.
