About Andrew Manfolk
I have been teaching Mathematics for business, college, aviation, and pre-meds for decades. I am dynamic and accomplished in my abilities to bring stagnate books to life. Math is not difficult, it must just be taught well.
I have taught hundreds of students. I teach airline captains beginning again in February. Hundreds of my students are rejoicing at their mastery of classical mechanics and the power of calculus. :)

During my experience as an undergraduate at St. Olaf I began teaching Algebra and Calculus. I attained a BA in Physics. As I left high school, I became a commercial pilot and flight instructor. I am currently on leave from an airline due to surgery and enjoy teaching. I need to pay the mortgage and currently teach all but part time in the Boeing 737 simulators. I also own Dakota Flight Training which is quite small, but growing. I teach Private Pilots' Online and in person. Commercial students I tutor on a one on one basis. I have found that my MAed training has aided my classroom instruction in identifying the different types of learning styles among my students. An instructor should continually ineract with the students to gain insight into their progress. This evaluation allows me to adapt the course of the lesson to most efficiently assist the student in gaining understanding. The reason each topic is to be learned is discussed at both the beginning and end of each lesson. In mathematics this is not always obvious. As the student masters each topic they should be able to begin to self-learn. This level of accomplishment is the goal of the instructor. To do this efficiently, the constant evaluation of student progress and confidence building are combined into a spectacular learning event. :)

Details
For FAA Certified pilot training or Mathematics I do live, Online group rates.
I can teach several students at a time from my electronic classroom. A full quarter of Algebra or a group of Private Pilots takes 25 hours of classroom time over 4 to 5 weeks. A private pilot or calculus student can expect to pay $300 per class in total.
It is highly effective, and students participate with questions and explanations. The groups eventually begin to self teach in many ways. They always do well due to my continuous evaluation and cheerful embodiment of a professor.
