About Erica
I have 20 years of experience teaching high school physics at all levels, from introductory courses to AP classes. I specialize in explaining concepts clearly and breaking down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps. I also enjoy connecting physics to students’ interests and real-world applications to make the material more meaningful and engaging.
My goal is to tailor my instruction to your individual learning needs, build your confidence, and help you develop a deeper understanding. And who knows—we might even make learning physics and math fun along the way!

My lessons are clear, organized, and focused on what you need. During our sessions, I’ll share my screen as we work through physics and math problems together, so you can see exactly how I approach each problem and ask questions along the way. After each lesson, you’ll also have access to our notes, so you can review what we covered whenever you need to.
I’ll take the time to figure out where you’re having difficulty and then build from what you already know and do well. Everyone learns differently, and I want to find an approach that makes sense to you—not just give you another way to memorize a formula.
I work with students from middle school through high school in both math and physics. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic, preparing for a test, or simply want to feel more confident in your understanding, I’ll meet you where you are and work with you from there.
