About Michael
I am trained as a physician and scientist and have worked in both medicine and medical research, healthcare consulting and business aspects of healthcare. As an avocation I am interested in architecture, art and design. I have been teaching and training people throughout my adult working life. I appreciate English as a tremendously versatile language though I also find that Italian is a wonderfully creative and emotionally expressive language.

I approach language in terms of what you want to do with it and how you can achieve that particular purpose, writing a business report obviously has a different approach from writing a novel or reading poetry. You may use language as you wish though it's best that you become of what other people reasonably expect when you communicate with them. It's reasonable to focus on what is of interest to you as a user allow and expect that more general usage will develop over time.
