About Ahmed
I'm Ahmed, a physician (MD) trained at Penn State College of Medicine and I completed my surgical residency training at Temple University Hospital, a Level I trauma center in Philadelphia, and am pursuing orthopedic surgery.
Before medical school, I earned a BS in Chemistry from VCU and worked as a formal teaching assistant and tutor, so teaching is something I've done throughout my entire academic career.
I've authored 11 peer-reviewed publications, presented research at national conferences including AAOS and ORS, and was awarded a Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowship through Yale University for international research. I'm trilingual in English, Arabic, and Spanish, which means I can work with a broader range of students comfortably.
I genuinely enjoy teaching. I remember what it felt like to sit in your seat, the pressure of the MCAT, the weight of Step 1, the anxiety before a practical exam and I use that to teach with real empathy and precision.
My students leave sessions with clarity, not just content.

I'm a physician (MD) with a 244 on Step 2 CK and 11 peer-reviewed publications, currently completing surgical training while pursuing orthopedic surgery. I've been tutoring and teaching since undergrad. I was a formal teaching assistant and tutor at VCU and I know how to break down complex material so it actually sticks.
My lessons are built around your specific weak points, not a generic curriculum. We start by identifying exactly where you're losing points, then build a targeted study plan around that. I use high-yield frameworks, active recall, and real clinical reasoning to help you think like a physician, not just memorize facts.
I work with pre-med students preparing for the MCAT, medical students tackling USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK, and undergrads in biology, chemistry, and anatomy.
