About Ian
Hi, I'm Ian. I am currently a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Waterloo, and previously hold a MA from the University of Toronto Political Science program. I currently work full time in the tech industry and keep up my love of teaching philosophy on the side.

I specialize in Political Theory and Philosophy and have helped many students read and understand classic political texts such as Plato's Republic, Aristotle, Thomas Hobbes, John Locke etc. Some of the courses I have tutored include: At the University of Toronto: POL 200, POL 214, POL446, POL460, PHL200 At York University: POLS 2900, POLS 2910, COMM 2700
I have also helped students prepare for standardized tests such as TOEFL, IELTS and the GRE.
