In class, I typically do a lecture-styled session and follow up with a discussion styled classroom experience.
In tutoring, I can do either way. I could do a virtual lecture, or I could make the class more conversational. The lesson plan is predicated on what topic we’re doing and what you are wanting to learn about.
What sets me apart as a tutor, is probably my experience in Philosophy and that I do this as a profession outside of here.

Dillon and I were in the Masters in Theology program together at LMU. He is a smart, compassionate, thoughtful teacher, who cares deeply about his students. Dillon also has a strong religious, philosophical, and ethical foundation.
Dillon is a philosopher and theologian. He thinks deeply, knows broadly, and communicates effectively. He knows his stuff (history, theory, etc) both in the philosophy world and theology world. He’s an experienced teacher that I highly recommend!
Dillon completed a BA and MA in philosophy at Oklahoma State University, which is where we met. He is knowledgeable in various topics in the humanities, including religious studies, philosophy, english, and africana studies. He is enthusiastic and motivated to help students learn.
I was Dillon's Professor in MA Program for Theological Studies at LMU and it was a true pleasure to have him in the classroom. Dillon has an exceptionally expansive and deep knowledge of Philosophy and Theology/Religious Studies. He is a careful and judicious thinker, who will be able engage and challenge you to think matters through thoroughly and probe them from different perspectives. He is an engaging and clear communicator and writer.
Dillon is a well-versed scholar and educator in the fields of philosophy and theology. I have had the pleasure of knowing him for 3 years now as a colleague and fellow classmate of the Graduate Theology Program at Loyola Marymount University. His breadth of philosophical knowledge and mysticism add a unique flavor to his theological thinking. I always enjoy listening to and learning from Dillon.
Dillon and I met in graduate school. He is an incredibly sincere and engaged philosopher. In our conversations, his care and thoughtfulness in the way he approaches ideas has always stood out to me. I could not recommend him enough as both a philosopher and a communicator of philosophical ideas.
Dillon is my nephew and he continually amazes me with his ability to see to the heart of issues and clearly express his ideas. And yet, he is young, approachable, and friendly. I think he would be an exquisite philosophy teacher or tutor.
