About Melissa
My classes are usually adapted to what the student needs. Depending on the level at which we are going to start, I develop exercises and use a textbook. I offer several activities (music, videos, texts, games) to complement the classes. My focus is to help people understand that they are able to learn another language as long as they can think and assimilate ideas in a foreign language, not just translating words, phrases and terms (but doing it when necessary).

I'm a student of the Philosophy course (Bachelor Degree) at Unifesp. I have learned to communicate in English as a child and I work with translation (English - Portuguese) and audio transcription in English. I've been a private teacher for basic and advanced English. I also have been a private English teacher for people who were ashamed to communicate in another language. I had the opportunity to travel abroad and I am quite willing.
