About Rachel
I have just finished a degree in Philosophy and Ancient history for which i expect to receive a first. I am continuing to a Masters in philosophy next year. My main focus is on Metaphysics and Philosophy of Mind but I am happy to teach other areas too.

I am aiming my lessons at either A-level or undergraduate students, but I will accept anyone with a passion for the subject. My lessons will ensure that you understand the basic concepts and vocabulary needed for each topic before moving on to a more in depth discussion. I am likely to recommend texts to read for discussion in class. I will also give students questions to consider and debate with others outside of lessons. I am good at making breaking down complex ideas into explainable chinks so that my students will not feel overwhelmed. I can also give advice about philosophical essay writing.
