About James
Since 2013, I have worked at the State and City Universities of New York, at the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign, and at Heartland Community College. I am currently in the last states of receiving my doctorate at the U of I, and over the course of my teaching career I have received numerous accolades for my teaching. I am dedicated to the craft of pedagogy and I aspire to excellence in my field. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in private tutoring over the last 10 years. I take this seriously, and I will leverage my wealth of experience to improve your writing and thinking skills.

Philosophy teaches one to break down arguments and to present ideas with clarity and precision. In other words, philosophy teaches you how to write well. With 10 years in the class room, I have helped hundreds upon hundreds of students improve their writing and thinking skills.
