About Hardev
I am a first-class Philosophy graduate and Master's graduate in Creative Writing from Durham University, and I am currently studying a PhD in English Literature. I have previous tutoring experience and teach A-level and undergraduate Philosophy, English Literature, Creative Writing and Religious Studies. I enjoy helping students develop their confidence, independent thinking and ability to engage deeply with their subjects. As someone who cares deeply about these areas, I approach my lessons with both enthusiasm and professionalism.

I focus on genuine understanding and personal engagement over rote learning and recall. My lessons encourage students to think independently, develop their own ideas and engage critically with the material, while building the skills needed for strong essays and exams. I want my students to leave with a passion for the material that they can take with them, whatever direction their studies take.
Lessons are 60 minutes and are tailored to the individual student. I have previous tutoring experience and hold a first-class degree in Philosophy and a Master's in Creative Writing from Durham University. I am currently studying a PhD in English Literature. I teach A-level and undergraduate Philosophy and English Literature.
