About Daniel
I'm currently completing my philosophy and politics undergraduate course before moving on to a philosophy master's next year. I've been studying these subjects for 6 years now, and with a strong passion for both topics I'd love to help others in their academic endeavours. I’ve achieved top grades throughout my university career - alongside having a huge interest for all forms of philosophical and political debates I am also skilled in transferring this passion into well structured and clearly articulated written work.
Though I have not previously tutored officially, I have plenty of experience working with both children and young adults, as can be seen on my CV, and as a result I have great interpersonal and relationship building skills. I thoroughly enjoy helping others learn and develop, I'm a firm believer that strong role models are vital in one's development into becoming a well rounded adult, and more specifically, vital in achieving well academically.

I believe it is essential in achieving well academically to be enjoying what one is learning - this is primarily the learning experience I aim to provide. Though, alongside this, it is key to have a thorough understanding of not only the topic one is studying, but the way in which one can use this understanding to acheive good grades.
My teaching methodology is largely conversational, ensuring the topics studied are fully understood and engaged with. This will be accompanied by my providing of typed notes on the topics to reference back to. It is key to note that my teaching methodology is flexible - great teaching comes from adapting to the way in which the student best learns.
My key skills include first-class essay writing technique, productive and rewarding revision methods, providing an engaging and enthusiastic learning experience, and creating a comfortable and stress-free environment in which proper eager engagement with the subject can be formed and nurtured.
