About Anna
I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and I have a PhD in Art History with 5+ years of experience lecturing and tutoring at university level. My teaching has spanned English literature and historical and art historical topics ranging from European and Global art and architecture to histories of masculinity. I have also published in my specialist field - Shakespeare and material culture.

I offer private lessons tailored to individual learning needs for university level students. Lessons are typically one hour in length. During each session, we will work towards developing analytical skills to critically engage with the subject. I make use of creative class formats and innovative ways of learning (for example, recreating contemporaneous experiences by having students play an eighteenth-century boardgame, or utilising the software 'Mentimeter').
