I am writing this open letter to recommend Bidisha for her skills in math and physics, coding, and communicating technical work.

She was my Ph.D. student from 2012 to 2017 at the Institute of Physics (IOP) in Bhubaneshwar, India. I have interacted with many young researchers in India over the years; Bidisha stands out as one of the brightest. She was among the most sincere, resourceful, intelligent, and hard-working students in IOP's Ph.D. program. Her performance in the graduate coursework was excellent, and this is reaffirmed by the fact that she was awarded the L K Panda best pre-doctoral student award in 2013.

Over the years, she has published several papers. Most of these projects also require detailed coding, and each paper requires significant technical work, reaffirming Bidisha's excellent math, physics, and coding skills.

She has given invited talks on her research projects at various places in India and abroad. She was invited to speak four times at the Indian Strings Meetings, twice at the national version and twice at the international version. Several people have independently told me that they are impressed with her work and presentation. She is a clear, confident speaker.

In summary, Bidisha is a bright, hard-working, energetic person. I strongly recommend her for any job that requires technical work. I have worked with several younger people in India and abroad over the years, and I can say with confidence that Bidisha is one of the best I have interacted with.
