About Stephanie
I'm a final-year PhD student in Biology with a strong passion for making science accessible and engaging. I specialise in researching genetic diseases, and alongside my research, I’m building a career in teaching — something I’m truly passionate about. As someone with dyslexia, I understand that everyone learns differently, and I bring a patient, flexible, and empathetic approach to my lessons. I aim to break down complex ideas into simple, relatable concepts that build confidence and deepen understanding. I’m currently seeking tutoring work to help support my family, including covering childcare costs, but my main motivation is to share my love of Biology and help students achieve their academic goals. After completing my PhD, I plan to move into secondary or further education teaching full-time. You can expect a professional, well-structured, and supportive learning environment in every session. I teach GCSE, A-Level, and undergraduate Biology, and tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs and learning style.

I'm a final-year PhD student in Biology offering flexible, engaging tutoring in GCSE, A-Level, and undergraduate Biology. I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals — whether that’s improving exam technique, building confidence, or tackling tricky topics. My sessions are structured but friendly, typically 60 minutes long, and include a mix of explanation, discussion, and practice using past paper questions. I focus on making complex ideas clear and helping students apply what they know under exam conditions.
