About Adam
I am a third year PhD student at UGA, where I also obtained my BA degrees in both Classics and Anthropology. I worked professionally for two years conducting archaeological surveys in Georgia before entering graduate school. Now, I have served as a teaching assistant for Human Osteology and a research assistant on a NSF-funded project studying weaning in Gelada populations through stable isotope analysis. I have mentored several students in lab methodology and project management.

I specialize in bioarchaeology, the study of human remains and mortuary contexts in the archaeological record. I have a good grasp of Ancient Greek and am able to competently discuss the archaeology of most regions of the world outside of my specialty. I have a particular interest in mobility, trade, and cross-cultural interactions in the Mediterranean region.
