About Morgan
I have been interested in biology ever since I watched Prehistoric Park with my Dad when I was six. After that day, I knew I wanted a career understanding the ecology, anatomy, and phylogeny of dinosaurs and other extinct organisms. Since then, I have begun to develop my knowledge of Biology to allow me to become a researcher in the field of Palaeobiology. This led me to conduct a bachelor's in Biology, followed by a master's in Palaeobiology, and now completing my PhD in Evolutionary Biology studying theropod teeth. My career goals are to become a researcher in the field, focusing on theropod dinosaurs, and to become a lecturer to pass on my passion for the subject to the next generation. This passion extends to all areas of biology and is why I first did my bachelor's in biology, rather than palaeontology. This allowed me to determine the area of biology I wanted to specialise in for my future career. The ecology and anatomy aspects were always my favourite and paired well with my love of dinosaurs. I am conducting tutoring as this is an amazing opportunity for me to develop my educational skills to allow me to achieve my goal of lecturing.

I will create a presentation based on the topic areas the student wants tutoring within, highlighting specific areas of difficulty if required. I will provide example questions to allow the student to practise their knowledge and will indicate methods to continue to develop once the lesson is concluded. Lessons will typically be an hour in length, although can be extended to cover all areas if needed by the student. I have given numerous talks on my research project to a variety of different audience types, tutored other students whilst studying at GCSE and A levels. I have achieved a Biology Bachelor's (1st Class), Palaeobiology Master's (Merit) and currently studying my PhD in Evolutionary Biology researching theropod teeth. My career goals are to become a researcher in this field and to become a lecturer to share my passion for this topic with the next generation. The lessons are aimed at GCSE, A Level and Undergraduate students across all areas of biology.
