About James
My name is James Bishop, and I am a current PhD student at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. I have been in the tertiary education sector for 13 years, during which I have obtained four degrees (two undergrads, honors, and a master's) and a TESOL certificate. I have roughly four years of teaching experience with undergraduate students in the form of guest lecturing (early 2022) and tutoring (since 2020) in the study of religion.

I prefer my teaching environment to be prepared, organized, and friendly. I wish to learn where the prospective student is in terms of English language and writing skills, which requires establishing rapport with him or her. Being prepared from my side as well as that of the students is important to me.
