About Kai
I've taught introductory biology, zoology, and animal physiology at the college level, have led an environmental education program at an outdoor retreat for special needs children, been a tour guide for the museum of natural history, assisted with teaching 6th grade science at a summer school and for homeschooled students, and volunteered as an educator with wildlife rehabilitation centers.

Most of my experience has been in either a laboratory or outdoor setting. I take a hands-on approach as much as possible but am also experienced with online learning, and I strive to meet students where they're at with a question-driven approach encouraging them to apply critical thinking and research skills.
