About Clive
I have a background in both industry and academia which I have managed concurrently since 1980. I am currently researching a PhD in English Literature at the University of Portsmouth and have the requisite skills and knowledge to assist with GCSE, A'Level and undergraduate studies.

My approach to tutoring is completely interactive in terms of discovering where the student is encountering difficulties with their subject area. The aim is to deconstruct the work and comprehensively work through the problem areas. The idea is for the student to discover where they have issues and too then tailor the resolution to the individual. My upmost consideration is that we all acquire knowledge through a variety of routes, that is what one-to-one personal tutoring has the time and ability to achieve outside the classroom.
