My pedagogical responsibilities have included conducting undergraduate seminars as a teaching assistant, and advising post-graduate-level students on how to best conceive of, and carry out their theses. During my stay in the University of Rhode Island as a visiting scholar, I was one of the facilitators of her workshop on digital literacy with high school students where I served the role of a facilitator and provided my own reflections and insight on how to critically engage as a new media user and creator. In conclusion, the teaching experiences I have had thus far have given me the practical, intellectual, and interpersonal skillset needed to successfully navigate the disparate requirements of teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. Each of these experiences has given me the confidence to further pursue teaching, and expand the ways in which I strive to make the connections needed to inspire students to reflect on, retain, and ultimately pursue knowledge towards the end of serving the public interest beyond my engagement with them.
