About Valentina
My professional CV in short:
I hold a BA and MA in Philosophy respectively from the University of Turin and the University of Milan-San Raffaele, and graduated with the highest mark with honors (110 e Lode) in both cases.
I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Philosophy at CEU (Vienna). In 2021 I was a visiting researcher at London's King's College.
I have extensive experience presenting at international academic conferences all around Europe.
I also have high education teaching experience. In 2021, I successfully completed CEU's Program for Excellence in Teaching in Higher Education.
About the non-professional me:
I like to cook but have no patience, and I like plants but always kill them because I forget to water them. I am learning oil painting. I binge watch, like, a lot, especially sci-fi. I am both a dog and a cat person. I am doing my best to be more environmentally-conscious.

TAILORED ON YOUR NEEDS - not empty words! Every student is unique, and so my teaching is adaptive. This is why I devote the first part of your free lesson to understanding your needs, motivation, language level, and interests; then, I mix up these ingredients to find the right formula for you. And your feedback is welcome every step of the way. We are learning together!
BUILDING TRUST -Learning is fun (for real!), but it might be challenging, both cognitively and emotionally. Thus, I put effort into building a friendly & safe environment based on mutual trust.
PROFESSIONALISM - Being a native speaker is not enough to learn the deepest secrets of your language. But I am not only a native speaker: I am a proficient one. My background in Humanities proves that I master Italian at the highest level, have a vast vocabulary, and have a deep knowledge of Italian grammar. Moreover, I have vast teaching experience: I started private teaching in high school and never quit, and I also have experience as a Philosophy teaching assistant at my university.
FLEXIBILITY - because of my primary occupation, I am fairly free to manage my time as I please. This means that I can easily accommodate your schedule needs!
