About Sokratis

I'm a PhD student in bioinformatics, also got a Msc in bioinformatics and a Bsc in computer science. Teaching web development for CF:G for 1.5 years now as well as python coding classes. As part of a uni society. Had several private student on Java and python over the past 8 years.

About the lesson

First of all I need to understand the needs of each student and the style of teaching he/she absorbs best. Once this is established we will adjust our methods to facilitate a relaxed and stress free teaching experience.

Perfect! I can honestly say this tutor has been amazing. He has been instrumental in helping me understand R programming from me having no basic knowledge to now writing hundreds of lines of codes on my own.

Sokratis helps you understand different complex concepts of programming language by his ability to break it down to its simplest form and it does not matter what subject matter you are studying, as he is able to apply his skills to any speciality, like in my case.

Prior to meeting him, I was extremely anxious with facing R programming as I had no prior experience with any sought of programming, nevermind R programming. He was able to put me at ease and help me build my confidence with his patience and scrupulous style of teaching methods.

He has good availability, which was imperative to me as I was working full time whilst studying my masters, and he also made sure he was available near deadlines. I found this effort very gratifying as you can sincerely see he wanted you to do well on your work.

I will definitely recommend Sokratis for private tutoring and if anybody requires any further details to validate my feedback, I will be more than happy to do so.
