About Clair
My name is Clair and I am a PhD student at University College Cork. I teach essay writing skills to undergraduate Arts students and dissertation preparation to final year undergrads and Ma. students. I have over four years of tutoring experience and Have helped my students achieve multiple goals from writing their first college essay to graduating with their degree or Masters degree.

My teaching methods are largely based on Howard Gardener’s theory of “Multiple Intelligences”, the understanding that everybody learns differently. I therefore utalise alternative teaching techniques, such as audio and visual modes of representation. Each lesson is tailored to the needs of the individual student.
