About Yan
I am currently a PhD student at Massey University, majoring in the social sciences.
I’m a native Chinese speaker and a huge language enthusiast. Besides Chinese, I can speak English, Russian, and a little Japanese. Because of this, I have quite a lot of experience with language learning myself. My long-term dream is to become a polyglot someday.
I’m also a pretty typical nerd — I’ve dedicated most of my life to studying, reading, and learning new things.
