About David

Hello, thank you for visiting my profile.

My name is David and I am a professional tutor with eleven years experience.

I have a PhD in Biomedical Science and Endocrinology and an MSc. in Pharmaceutical Science and Medicinal Chemistry. I thus have extensive experience in Chemistry and Biology at all levels.

I have previously worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Cambridge. Prior to that I was an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton teaching Biology and Chemistry and related subjects. I have also been teaching A Level Biology and Chemistry including GCSE Science since 2006. I also help prepare A Level students for university by offering advise on subjects necessary for particular courses, career advise and preparation for university entry interviews.

I have gained a rich perspective on how to effectively deliver the subject matter to students and used to explaining complex ideas in a straightforward and engaging way. With my wide range of experience I can help you both understand the underlying Chemistry and Biology and give you lots of that all important, practice in tackling exam questions
