About Yasniel
Originating from San José de las Lajas, Mayabeque, Cuba. Majored in Radiochemistry at the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technologies (InSTEC) of the University of Havana, Cuba, 2017 class. From September 2017 and until January 2018 worked as a specialist in the Radiopharmacy Department of the Isotopic Center (CENTIS), a leader in development of radiopharmaceuticals in Cuba. In February 2024 got his PhD in Nuclear Technology-Applications at the Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares (IPEN/CNEN) of the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. Since April 2024 works mainly with Organic Chemistry, Radiochemistry and Production of Radioisotopes as a post-doctoral fellow at the Cross Cancer Institute of the University of Alberta, Canada.
