About Amélie

I’m Dr Amélie Mons, a French language and culture specialist with over a decade of experience teaching learners of all ages and levels, from private lessons to institutional courses at the esteemed Alliance Française. Currently, I serve as a Learning Specialist at the University of Manchester, where I guide students to reach their full potential through personalised lectures, one-on-one sessions, and creative workshops tailored to diverse learning needs.

I hold a PhD in French Studies from the University of Manchester, where I was the department’s only fully funded candidate. During my tenure, I taught French language and culture to hundreds of students, gaining recognition for my innovative and interactive teaching methods.
