About Rabia
I am a PhD-qualified Cancer Biologist from University College London (UCL) with over five years of teaching experience, specialising in Biology and related life sciences. I have successfully supported students at GCSE, A Level, IB and undergraduate level, helping them build confidence, master challenging concepts and achieve excellent academic results.
My teaching is tailored to each student's individual learning style and goals. I focus on developing a deep understanding of the subject rather than rote memorisation, using clear explanations, diagrams, exam-style questions and interactive discussions to make complex topics accessible and engaging.
Alongside my teaching experience, my PhD research has given me extensive expertise in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Genetics. I bring real-world scientific knowledge into my lessons, helping students appreciate not only what they need to know for exams but also how biology applies beyond the classroom.
I am patient, approachable and committed to helping every student reach their full potential, whether they are aiming to improve their grades, prepare for university entrance or develop a genuine interest in the life sciences.

I am a PhD-qualified Cancer Biologist from University College London (UCL) with a strong academic background in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Biomedical Sciences. My aim is to make complex scientific concepts easy to understand by breaking them down into clear, logical steps and adapting my teaching style to each student's individual learning needs.
My lessons are interactive, supportive and tailored to help students build confidence as well as achieve excellent academic results. I use diagrams, real-life examples, practice questions, exam-style problems and regular knowledge checks to ensure students fully understand each topic rather than simply memorising it.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged for exam preparation or assignment support. I provide help with homework, coursework, revision planning, exam techniques and university-level coursework where appropriate.
I teach GCSE, IGCSE, A Level, IB and undergraduate students studying Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and related Biomedical Science subjects.
