I hold a PhD from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at one of New Zealand’s most prominent research centres. Over the past ten years, I have worked extensively with and within secondary and tertiary education systems, mentoring and teaching students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds in an international context.

I have mentored both native and non-native speakers to improve their academic, business, and workplace English skills. This includes supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students in strengthening their research and writing skills, as well as assisting professionals in refining their business communication and report writing.

In January 2023 I obtained a “Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages” (TESOL) certification to further refine my teaching methods and stay current with effective teaching practices.

Beyond my teaching roles, I have contributed to scholarly research by writing and peer-reviewing scientific papers, presenting at international conferences, and facilitating workshops. These experiences have honed my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and engage with a wide range of audiences, which I am eager to share with my students.
