About Liz
I believe in each student's ability to thrive whilst finding balance. That's why I teach. As a tutor, I see my role as a support forstriking that balance. My agility as a professional educator (a lecturer in Music and at University of Southampton and Winchester School of Art) aids me with this. I am here to not only walk with you as you smash your academic and learning goals, but to also develop the practices and habits that will see you consistently meeting your next ambitions. Pathway session (30min - 1hr)
+we'll discuss your short-term and long-term goals, learning styles, learning advantages, and challenges to work with
+we'll decide on a schedule
+we'll assess your starting point
Typical tutoring session (1hr - 2hrs) includes:
+ brain warmups
+ check-ins
+ structured feedback
+ body-doubling for independent work time
+ in-session work, theoretical and practical
I work with students of all ages and am particularly keen to work with those who are neurodivergent (like me!)
