About Srivastava
Hi I am pursuing my PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from IIT Bombay. I love teaching chemistry and coding for engineering and medical students (Grade 11th and 12th) and in the past few years I have also been teaching Maths and Coding for foundation (Grade 8th to 10th).
I have taught my subjects in premiere coaching institutes in several cities like Kolkata (Partha Educational Institutions) and Kanpur (Lido Private Ltd.) and have more than six years of teaching experience. I regularly update myself with the learning requirements of the educational system and am ready to mold myself to help my students. My passion is to make my subjects interesting,approachable, and easy to score. I believe in three core principles of my teaching, which have helped my students cross Board, JEE, Medical, and other competitive exams. As a first principle, I train my students to love their subjects and appreciate the beauty of concepts they are learning. This is foremost as motivation to study a subject just for the sake of scoring marks does not last long and becomes tiring. Secondly, I teach the foundational principles and concepts behind a lesson and demonstrate how the same underlying principles can solve seemingly different sets of problems. This equips my students with skills to expertly identify the governing principles behind any problem with clarity and confidence. Last but not least, I make them practice enough problems in class and as tutorials to take their confidence to the next level. Remember, practice sharpens and tests one’s knowledge and application skills.
