About Samira

I have awarded PhD degree in chemistry, I had worked as private teacher (for two years) before I came into UK while I was doing my degree. My job involved teaching English, maths, physics and chemistry for different level of students (around 12 students) but most of my educational assistance was one to one. Owing to my high ability to absorb new information and I am also a quick learner, I assisted many of my classmates to understand many of unclear points during my degree. When I came to UK, I taught women (adult) and children between 8 and 16 years old Arabi language and Quran in institution near my house. My students who attended those lessons were more than 20 students; this teaching program has lasted almost a year. I have assisted my siblings with all their study stages from GSCE to university level. They are in final year of their degree. I helped them to understand organic chemistry, analytic chemistry, biology, math subjects, the principle of the drug discovery and development and pharmacology. All my teaching experience I made sure to elevate students’ performance mainly in chemistry and math

About the lesson

I am PHD holder in synthetic chemistry who holds a range of skills in many areas both practically and theoretically. I could teach all levels of student including the University level and those whose second language is English
My normal lesson plan involves the following:
 Careful selection of topic
 Determine the learning objectives
 prepare set of tools and media that gives good introduction and anticipation of the topic
 deliver the lesson in relaxed leisurely pace
 I solve problem on board, and I ask student to solve a second problem
 Before proceeding with lesson, I will ask number questions about what I explained so fare
 I give them chance to work through quiz or exercises under my supervision
 I will send them with homework
 finally, I review all key point of the lesson and ask question. If they could not answer them successfully, I might revise the lesson again next day
My teaching method is combination of coach and activity style. To me practical is as important as theory. With me student obtain the necessary knowledge through demonstration and observation.

The fee for all high school student £20/1hr , university student £25/1hr and group of student (more than 5 students), each individual will get 10% discount

Prepaid fees will be refunded if the student cancel the lesson prior 24 hs, however, if there is no refund if the cancellation happens with less than 24 hs.
