About Amanda
I am currently teaching Social Studies at the high school level in Colorado. I have a major in Foreign Languages, and have lived and studied abroad for several years. I have an MA in Latin American Studies from Tulane and an MA in History from SUNY Buffalo. I have taught at the University of Memphis, Medaille College, SUNY Buffalo, and also at the high school level.

I focus my classes on skill and content often using project based learning, argumentative writing, and experiential pedagogy. I feel confident teaching at the Middle School, High School, and College level. I like to get to know each student to see how they learn best and structure my lessons accordingly.
