About Justin Neville
I have lived in Edinburgh since 2016. I completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Warwick in 2018; before that, I studied Philosophy at the University of Oregon, USA. I have published extensively in Continental Philosophy and have worked in various jobs that involve reading, writing, and research since that time. I have tutored various students in Philosophy and English Literature since 2018.

I have extensive experience teaching English Literature, academic writing, and Continental Philosophy to Secondary School students and undergradutes. My teaching is always student-led; I learn what the student needs to learn, and their learning style, and tailor my approach to them. I have taught in the past at the University of Oregon (USA) and at the University of Warwick (UK), in addition to private tuition. I am happy to tutor students at all levels of secondary school (from National 5 to Higher and Advanced Higher) as well as undergraduate students who wish to study English Literature and Philosophy. My lessons usually last one hour. I often use questions to spark students to think and reflect creatively.
