About Sean
My number one goal is helping students achieve their goals, not mine. I started my academic career as a theater major, going to art school and getting my BA in theater. I understand that not all students come to courses with a baseline of information or with great interest in the subject. Because of this, I focus on meeting students where they are and giving them the help they need and want.

I focus on teaching history as part of building long-term skills which will be beneficial to students in all aspects of their academic career. I focus on writing and comprehension. From a historical standpoint I focus on weaving together time periods to understand history as a larger narrative of how our world changes over time. My expertise is in teaching undergraduate history; however, I have experience working with highschool and graduate level students as well.
