About Simon

I grew up in the Midwest, but went to MIT for undergrad and Iowa State for grad school. After a stint in the aerospace industry in Los Angeles, I found my true calling with teaching and robotics coaching. I love what I do and I've helped thousands of students level up their understanding in the hard sciences and engineering fields.

About the lesson

-I craft inquiry-based lessons that focus on student agency and accountability -Utilize multiple high-tech and analog tools along with a wealth of tested resources -This tutoring is ideal for entry-level middle and high school physics and chemistry students, AP Physics (1,2 and C) students and robotics/engineering students

Simon was an amazing physics tutor who really helped me understand topics that were difficult to understand. He explained things in a way that actually made sense to me, and took time to ensure I could understand. Instead of just giving me answers, he showed me how to think through problems step by step ( which was super helpful). Physics went from being super frustrating to something I could understand and be confident in class. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Simon as a tutor!
