About Dhara

I am an epidemiologist with a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Arizona and a passion for helping students develop confidence in their academic abilities. My background includes extensive experience in public health research, statistical analysis, scientific writing, and undergraduate and graduate-level instruction.

As a former university Teaching Associate, I have supported students in epidemiology and public health courses by explaining challenging concepts, providing individualized feedback, facilitating review sessions, and helping students strengthen their understanding of course material.

I understand that students have different learning styles, and I strive to create a supportive, engaging environment where questions are encouraged. My approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into manageable concepts, connecting lessons to real-world examples, and helping students develop the skills to approach problems independently.

Whether you're looking to strengthen your understanding of epidemiology, improve your research or academic writing skills, or gain confidence in your coursework, my goal is to make learning more accessible and less intimidating.

About the lesson

My lessons are adaptable to students at all academic levels, from middle and high school through undergraduate and graduate studies. I offer tutoring in science, including biology, anatomy and physiology, epidemiology, research design, research methods, and a variety of public health-related subjects.

As a skilled and published academic writer, I also offer academic writing support, proofreading, and editing services tailored to your individual needs. Whether you're looking to strengthen your understanding of a subject, improve your writing skills, or receive guidance on an essay, research paper, or manuscript, I'm here to help!

My teaching approach emphasizes clear explanations, practical examples, and individualized support. I encourage students to ask questions, engage actively with the material, and develop the confidence to approach challenging concepts independently.

I look forward to working with you!
