Writing: My aim as a writing tutor is not only to make better writing but also, and more importantly, to make better writers. I will work with you at any stage of your writing process, from initial brainstorming of ideas to final edits.
Subject matter: I have taught grammar, literature, vocabulary, and writing. I will help you better understand poetry and fiction, strengthen your understanding of grammar through easy-to-understand explanations and exercises, and give you concrete strategies for performing well on standardized tests.
