About Alice
I hold a PhD in Economics, an MA in Economics and an MCom. With more than 18 years of teaching and educational leadership experience across different curricula, I have extensive expertise in teaching Economics, Accounting and Business Studies. I understand the requirements of multiple examination boards and help students meet curriculum-specific assessment expectations.
My lessons are suitable for secondary and senior-secondary students, including IGCSE, GCSE, AS and A Level, IB, CBSE and other international curricula. I also teach undergraduate and postgraduate students who require support in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business-related subjects. Lessons are available for students who need regular academic support, examination preparation, concept clarification, grade improvement or advanced enrichment.

My tutoring approach is personalized, structured and focused on building both conceptual understanding and examination confidence. I begin by assessing each student’s current level, learning needs and academic goals. Lessons are then carefully adapted to the student’s curriculum, ability and preferred learning style.
I use real-life examples, visual explanations, guided practice and exam-style questions to make Economics, Accounting and Business Studies practical and easy to understand. Complex topics are broken down into manageable steps, followed by regular questioning, application activities and constructive feedback. I also support students with answer structure, calculations, data interpretation, case-study analysis, evaluation skills and effective examination techniques.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. However, 90-minute sessions can be arranged for advanced topics, intensive revision or examination preparation. Each lesson usually includes retrieval practice, concept explanation, guided application, independent practice and a short review of progress
