In my experience, a lot of students who seemed to struggle to understand some math or physics concepts, in fact, just hadn't received the right explanation for the subject matter. Usually, they say that if you want to translate from language A to language B, more than being an expert in language B, you have to be an expert in language A. As someone proficient in math and physics, I can put the equations into a language—a series of words and sentences—customized to the particular student and easy to consume for that specific person.
