About Muhammad
I am an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at NUST and hold a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston. Physics, particularly mechanics, has been an essential part of my academic, research, and teaching career.
Because of my engineering background, I teach physics not simply as a collection of equations, but as a way of understanding how the real world works. Concepts such as forces, motion, energy, momentum, equilibrium, and rotational mechanics become much easier when you can visualize what is physically happening.
I understand that physics can become frustrating when students are given equations without developing the underlying concepts. I am patient with questions and happy to explain the same idea in different ways until it makes sense. My goal is to provide university-level knowledge in a relaxed and approachable learning environment.

My physics lessons follow a simple approach: understand the physical situation first, choose the equations second, and solve the mathematics third.
We start by identifying what is actually happening in a problem. I use diagrams, free-body diagrams, everyday examples, and engineering applications to help you visualize the concept before introducing the equations. We then solve problems step by step and discuss why each step is necessary.
I can help with topics including kinematics, Newton’s laws, forces and equilibrium, work and energy, momentum, circular and rotational motion, gravitation, and introductory mechanics, as well as physics concepts used in engineering.
Lessons are adapted to your level and goals, whether you need help building your fundamentals, completing problem sets, preparing for an exam, or understanding a topic that did not make sense in class. The aim is not just to get the correct answer, but to help you develop a method that you can use to solve new problems independently.

Perfect! Im a biotech major, struggling with Cal II And man, Muhammad is awesome, really knows his stuff!! I appreciate the time he took to plan lessons out for me! I provided the material and he did all the rest. His lessons were concise and witty (not overwhelming). He summarizes, shows examples, then helps with any example problems/ homework problems! It is very challenging to find GOOD tutors in higher level math on this site so I appreciated all the more when he stepped up to help. 10/10 recommend!
