About Salome

As a PhD student, I’m pursuing a career in academia not just because of my academic achievements, but because I am passionate about teaching and eager to help people. I want to teach because I know firsthand how the right support can transform a student’s life. I was once the quiet girl in nursery school who was labelled as "dull" simply because I was quieter than others. But with the great support I had, I went from being overlooked to becoming the best in my class, eventually excelling all the way to university. I believe that everyone has the potential to achieve excellence and be their best with the right guidance. This is why I'm passionate about tutoring. With my strong academic background, years of experience, and training, I'm here to support and guide you, ensure you gain confidence and become the best you can be in Chemistry and Maths.

About the lesson

My role? Making hard concepts both fun and easy to understand. It gives me great joy to see my students achieve understanding. I adjust my teaching to fit each student's needs, breaking down tough topics in Chemistry and Maths into simple, clear steps. I also use funny and effective examples to make learning better. Each lesson lasts about 60 minutes, giving us enough time to cover the topics and still keep the lessons very interactive. I’m currently a PhD student in Chemistry, with a First-Class degree in Petroleum Chemistry and a Master’s with Distinction in Green Chemistry and Sustainable Industrial Technology. I have several years of experience helping students from elementary school to university levels. Many of my students have gone from struggling to excelling. My lessons are for students of all ages, especially those in secondary school, A-levels, and university. Whether you’re studying for exams or just want to improve your understanding of Chemistry and Maths, I’m here to help you succeed.
