About Conner
I am easy to talk to and can be very talkative. I know what it is like to be lost or not understand the material, as well as the frustration and feeling of hopelessness that can follow. I aim to inspire students to enjoy their education and see the fruits that hard work can provide in a given subject. I will try my best to relate to you and how you learn best, and pinpoint ways that can increase your confidence going into tests or quizzes.

I provide multiple angles for the given subject as no student learns the same. I also try to make real-life analogies that are easy to remember and serve as a template for a student to refer to when faced with questions. I like to have a copy of the student curriculum so I can plan review material for the student and me to go over at the beginning of the session. We would then review what the student had learned in the previous week, with them explaining to me how they understand it. From there I can briefly go over each point that they understand to reaffirm those points, then hit each point they struggle with multiple different angles to find which works with that student. From there I would draft a brief quiz to test what the student understands and if time leave them with other questions to think about and answer before our next session. I pride myself on the ability to connect with students of all ages as I too struggled with learning and enjoying learning through my elementary and high school education. I do everything I can to connect different ideas to real-world examples to not only make the material relative but also invoke a sense of inquiry in the student that makes them want to learn. My lessons are for middle school, high school, and undergraduate studies primarily in biology, basic chemistry, and human physiology.
