About Sejal
Originally from India, I’ve been in the UK for 5 years now. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from King’s College London and secured a First Class. Thereafter, I completed a research degree in Sleep and Circadian Biology at Oxford, where I also worked as a research assistant in my lab. I am now a PhD Candidate studying Skeletal Regeneration at the Royal Veterinary College in London.
Chemistry and Biology have always been my passion and I find immense joy in helping others understand it better, especially the younger generations. As a scientist, I will take great care to ensure that my students have clarity on tough concepts as that will better help them apply their knowledge while dealing with critical thinking questions.
I have previous tutoring experience in GCSE Biology and below with the company Teach9 in 2019 and with Superprof in 2023. I also have experience working with children in schools in India as well as in South London where I mentored Year 6 pupils with school work (Maths and English).

The key to mastering application based questions is to understand the underlying concept well and I will delve deep into each topic to clear any doubts you might have. I use Power points and external notes to aid my teaching and re-iterate concepts to ease memory consolidation.
