About Devleena
I am a PhD researcher with a strong academic background in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Statistics. I have experience teaching undergraduate students as a Teaching Assistant for a university-level Statistics course, and I have also worked as an academic problem-solver on Chegg, where I consistently provided clear, step-by-step explanations to support student understanding. I offer lessons in Chemistry, Biology, Trigonometry, and Mathematics for middle and high school students and college students as well. I find it really helpful for the students to understand the concepts when it's broken down to easily understandable pieces that the students join together as they start understanding and answering themselves. I want the students to ask as many questions as possible so that they have a complete understanding of the subject and I like to give them random quizzes about the previous topics before starting teaching that day. This helps them recapitulate the previous topics and move forward and connect the concepts at the same time. Being a PhD student, I am always open to updating my methods of learning and teaching that is beneficial for both parties.
