About Marisa
I can’t remember a time when I didn’t love writing. This love propelled me to complete an MFA in English, and I am currently working toward my PhD in Creative Writing. I’ve also worked for multiple literary journals including The Pinch, Five Points, and Booth, and I have several publications. If you’re looking to improve your grammar, better understand concepts like literary periods or the rhetorical triangle, or simply brainstorm story ideas, I’m here to help!

I’ve previously taught at several universities and tutored for the Johns Hopkins CTY program. I work with students of all ages to foster a love of writing and better understanding of grammar. I prefer meeting online several times a week to go over assignments. These assignments are customized to fit your goals, current skills, and schedule.
